How long have you been playing?
I've been playing bass guitar since 2006. I started playing clarinet when I was in the 5th grade along with piano and acoustic guitar but never kept up with it. Recently I have been taking piano lessons again. I have always wanted to be a musician. I grew up watching my sister play clarinet, and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world.
What gear do you use?
I have an Axiom Pro 61 Midi Keyboard, a four string Soundgear bass by Ibanez with Bartolini pick-ups, a six string Yamaha acoustic guitar, a four string fretless Fender Squier bass guitar, and also another keyboard, a clarinet, and a harmonica, and a 6 string Yamaha electric guitar back in Maine (where I'm originally from).
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Frank Sinatra was definetly one of my biggest influences for jazz, along with Antonio Carlos Jobim. I'm a big fan of the big band and relaxed, chill jazz. I don't really remember as to how I got into them. I can only guess it's because of my dad who would dj weddings. The Beatles are also a big musical influence because I've been around it my whole life because of my dad. I also like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Primus because of there awesome bass lines. My biggest influences right now are Danny Elfman, Michael Giachinno, John Williams, etc. film composers!

If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
To jam with, I'd probably pick between a few people. It would be between Les Claypool, Jamie Cullum, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Antonio Carlos Jobim, or Flea. They're all amazing musicians that do/ have done their job well (O, and totally Santana too!). If this question was asking who I'd love to have as a mentor, or as an advisor, it would definetly be Danny Elfman. I can't stop listening to Alice's Theme from Tim Burton's 2010 Alice In Wonderland.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
The biggest audience I ever performed for was probably between 200-300 people. I did a show called "Nunsensations" at the Waterville Opera House in Waterville, Maine. I'm not sure of how many seats there are there, but I'm guessing it's between that. I played in the pit at Colby College in Waterville, Maine for Broadway Musical Review and I became great friends with the other musicians. It was always a great time and I learned a lot from my co-workers. I'd play there again in a heartbeat, those were always memorable performances.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Danny Elfman's Soundtrack to Alice In Wonderland 2010 Tim Burton film. No doubt! I listen to that album at least once a day. I first heard it in 2011, and I haven't stopped listening since. I want to be a film composer, I'm going to school for an undergrad in composition (specifically for film) and Danny's compositions are always original. I love the use of percussion and low brass and how he accurately uses them to build up.
