Dear Prudence is my first collaboration with Bradley O'Neill. I originally hoped to do a collage of Lennon songs but stuck with the basic arrangement with three part harmony. Also a little tribute to the Rutles at the end. Thanks to Brad for letting me add a few things to his great production. You can visit his version here: http://fandalism.com/braddles/efVw

Saturday night was momentus, as Bill Russell joined us for a jam. It was the first time Bill, Dave Tylicki and I have played together since 1988. Hank, our lead guitarist was absent so I had to improvise on lead guitar, a very wild line up since Bill used to be the lead guitarist and here plays bass. This was our first run through of the Rolling Stones classic with Lori Tylicki singing a killer vocal. We did a few dozen songs, including me later on bass and Bill on guitar. Dedicated to Senior Paul!!!

It was 50 years ago this month the Beatles released Penny Lane and a completely new look and sound. This song is about my childhood in the 60s and wanting to reflect on how I remember this great song on the radio when I was 6. I made this video before I even joined Fanda, much updated of course.

Life's Winds of Change. This is an original song written by Mark Taylor and myself for Kathy Shortt to sing. Mark actually performed a guitar piece entitled "Life Winding Down" that I added lyrics to. This is my original demo vocal with Mark's live guitar performance using a spider capo, which Kathy turned into a great ballad.

A Cusper original loosely based on an old girl friend's cousin who use to have photo frames in his house with the models' photos still in them...they were all of his "girl friends". So "Senior" Paul sent me a drum and guitar riff reminiscent of Stones and titled it Paul Tumblin Down. I immediately imagined a Stones Beatles hybrid style of song and recalled a McCartney song called Love Comes Tumbling Down...and it went forward from there. A free-styling improvised rocker by "Keef and Charlie" and my second collaboration with "Senior" Paul. A tribute to Dinosaur Rock.

One of my first posts on Fando was a song called Long Lost Love, which I wrote for Bill Vignari. I think Bill has some major fans here, because that version has a large amount of views and none of my others (besides Bill's vocals) come close. My brother and I decided to do our own version. We met up in Syracuse last week and touched up the mixing and mastering. I don't expect to come close to that, but we do hope you enjoy it.

Without Friends is an original written by Bill Russell and I but mostly Bill's work here. We recorded this at TraxEast in 1989 with producer Plinky Giglio on the ivories. I found live footage which includes us performing this song, but my DVD burner crapped out before I finished converting all of the video. So Bill and I touched up some audio stuff over the summer and remastered it, though it would have been nice to have the original tracks to remix.

Privacy by The Cuspers, an ode to mass media and mass hysteria. This was originally recorded with the Merj, and titled "Prophecy" about 1-900 psychics. I rewrote it in 2011 as the subject became dated. I used the original analog bass, drums and rhythm guitars of me and my brother. Everything else was redone for Cusper's Last Stand in 2012 and remastered for this new video. Influences for the song include the Monkees Door Into Summer, REM's What's The Frequency Kenneth, and the original version of Good God, written by Jim Jenkin and Channon Reed, recorded by Whitebread.

God Only Knows. Written by Brian Wilson and Tony Asher. Singing to backing tracks for my Mom, made me realize the vocal exercise and discipline to really sound professional is intense and sometimes complicated, but good for later translation in live performances. Seeing the reaction of my Mom from the more traditional covers made me realize my limited voice is more suited to pop/rock than “crooning”. Anyway, as I finish my part up on collabs I’m looking forward to releasing, I took on a quick vocal exercise with backing music tracks, but I needed tracks that had NO piped in backing vocals. I wanted to do this by myself. It was a quick run. A guide lead vocal. One take each for 5 backing vocal tracks, and finally the finished lead vocal. We miss you Carl Wilson!

Jim Jenkin produced this in 1986, remastered in 2015. A wonderful piece of analog and my first multi-track recording session ever. The song was recorded again with my band Rockslide (posted previously here on Fanda)a few years later, but this one is very cool to hear again after all these years. I had a distorted old cassette of it, and Jim restored it from the original 4 track. Jim also put great final touches on the video. Sorry for the hype, but it is a biggie to me!! A pre-Fanda collab in the truest sense!! Jim on guitars, Andy Gay on drums! Enjoy!

From 1992 unfinished album "To the Edge and Back", a song about being a pack rat, an animal lover and having a disdain for high society pomp and circumstance arrogant BS. This is a full version of a coda from this tune from the previous Rockslide cassette. http://fandalism.com/mikevisco#!/mikevisco/dpIk Mike Viscardi: vocals, guitars Bill Russell: backing vocals, guitars Ed Healy: backing vocals, guitars Rick Brady: lead guitar
