I've been playing on and off for years. Loved the classic Rock, R&B and still do 40+ years later. That's why I picked up the bass....classic players like James Jamerson, Larry Graham, Bootsy Collins, Jack Bruce, Paul McCartney, John Paul Jones, Victor Wooten, Jerry Scheff (Elvis, Association, Doors' L.A. Woman album)....Nathan East is my favorite today...great player, who all around, can play jazz, rock, R&B, classical...you name it!

The Doors. I believe it was Hollywood Paladium or somewhere on the "strip" around 1966 or 1967 (right before their first album was released)...but definitely Hollywood. A relative dropped off me and my neighbor, Skip...most memorable.....being mesmerized by Jim Morrison....what a great showman.

I've tried to sample various styles of music. If anyone needs a dependable bassist for a pick-up gig, I look at Fandalism as my video business card !

Eric Clapton. Loved his solos with Cream and the Blues Breakers. Loved the power three piece bands. Hendrix as well. Led Zeppelin and Van Halen....later on.

If someone has a gig, I'm there....mostly classic rock groups, some R&B/Soul and blues too.

Girl Up Front, Captain Soulcheck, Lee & the Real Deal are bands I perform with.

Jimi....of course........I know all those classic Noel Redding bass riffs and just listening to that blistering guitar would be euphoric as I laid down the bottom end.
Eric in his earlier days with Cream. We do a bunch of their stuff and I know most of the Jack Bruce vocals/ bass lines......would be a real trip, especially if I could also jam with Mitch Mitchell (fantastic !)or Ginger Baker (unique style).

Dark Side of the Moon....I never get tired of hearing the cuts off of this classic.
A close second is the Beatle's Abbey Road....great recording for as far back as 1969.
AJA - Steely Dan and Boston debut album...both recorded to near perfection.
Could I just take my iPod to that desert island?? Does the island have a battery charger?
