I'm In my L8 twenties and i think music is fucking sexy! I've been composing/producing tunes for a year now under S70N3D A55A551N, but only released anything in the last 6 months. I've been known for drumming/tapping/humming/beat-boxing/annoying others with random rhythms my whole life in. One computer and a microphone.....

Could never take the time required to learn an instrument well enough to articulate what i had in my head to reality till music production software got to where it is now. Much respect to all the true musicians out there that have dedicated the time and money to become pro with their respective instruments and techniques.

A platform to get the tunes to the people! I really dig the site and community, but would like to see genre specific hot lists, to give individual original tracks a little more time to shine and generate some listeners. Also, a separate list for original works, covers and photos. Its a little lame when you spend a couple weeks composing and mastering an original track, post it and then get 1 minute of exposure because someone spams 20 photos of their guitars...followed by 20 pictures of their band, and then 20 karaoke renditions. (nothing against karaoke singers, just want a separate list for originals).

Rap. Hands down. When i was going to school, if you didn't like gangsta rap, you were into the wrong music. Nothin' could touch the rhythms and beats of G Rap in the nineties. NWA, Tupac, Deathrow in general. These beats made me love music.
I can't take away from punk in the nineties either, though. Offspring's "Ignition", "The Offspring", and "Smash" got so much play i burned through every tape i had them on. Old Greenday, NOFX, Goldfinger, Sublime. All good stuff. Anything Bob, because Bob got it like no one else did.
As for the rave tunes....anyone ever "done" a rave or E-music fest?.... did you happen to notice how colorful, and differently dressed the pretty rave girls are that love rave tunes?... K, cool, me too! Glad we had this chat;)
