I've been singing and songwriting forever, picked up a guitar for the first time when i was 19, and the rest, OH, is just history
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
The Beatles, cuz they made music what it is today, my parents were into them so it made it easy for me to be.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I was in Tenedepe, an Alternative (best way to describe it) band from Kansas City, MO. My friend Zach Thropp and I started it in his bedroom just jamming together and recording with a really rigged up setup. We Played about 10 shows in about 7 months time including music festivals and some cool venues around the city. The band isn't officially broken up, but we haven't played a show TOGETHER since November 2011
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
That 1 Guy, because he is without a doubt the best one man show i've ever seen
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Biggest audience was probably at Hoopalooza in October 2011, round abouts 600 people were there. Smallest would be our show in Oak Grove, where there was probably a total of 5 people listening, the opening band, the promoter, and two bartenders haha. Most memorable was at Californo's in Kansas City where we had about 25 people who paid to see what could have just as well of been a free show out on the sidewalk, with people wandering from blocks away to check us out cuz they followed the sound.
