A small Prayer on the first day of the New Year, hoping for a prosperous time giving exemption from what we want to turn our back, looking forward! Kinga Prada, flute, Tamara Bohlin, cello, playing the music by Stellan Sagvik, Elin Engström, reading the text by Ildiko Asztalos Morell: Purifying Prayer My creator! Deliver me from my burden! Let me throw away from me Let me blow out my lungs! Let me bring it back to the air In eternity! False song Do not mock me! Do not interfere with my Joy, body, my self! My creator Open my gates Spread my heart Heal my soul Roll down the stone from My heart and my body Give me strength To let my soul's lonely child grow up begin its journey And be whole in your love From a live concert in Sofia Church of Stockholm on New Years Eve 2016.

Lindgren plays Sagvik 12 Preludes in Grünewald Hall - - - A rough, from the gallery filmed, clip of the first complete public performance of 12 Preludes by Stellan Sagvik, played by amazing pianist Stefan Lindgren, in front of a many-headed audience in the Grünewald Hall of Stockholm Concert Hall during the Stockholm Piano Festival 2015 - a three days piano fiesta with totally 40 pianists attending, from 7 to 77 years of age, from students to virtuoso legends! The 12 Preludes are a collection of small ironic pastisch-like comments on different piano and pianists styles from different times and musical moods. The pieces were written in 1975 and are recorded by Stefan Lindgren on the nosag records double CD "KLAVERAMA" containing all music for solo piano by Stellan Sagvik, but the complete suite was not performed in public until this concert on September 5th 2015. 1. Drunknande katedralen / The drowning cathedral 2. Danse Rosée 3. Elektrauss 4. Sonate Ecritée 5. Choralissimo 6. Triondoro 7. Arabeskt 8. Repli 9. Miksi 10. Tanza 11. Ballad 12. La Valsa

Stellan Sagvik: Förö-varen - Kinga Práda / Mathias Kjellgren --- Celebrating my Grand daughter's second birthday with this little whim - originally a short Christmas gift, written for piano in 1991 for my mother's old boyfriend Arne (they were together in the late fifties and he was a dear father figure for me, as my own father passed away some years earlier), whom I kept contact with all the way until he died, 92 years old The title is a joke: Arne was half of the year living on an island - Förö - outside Gothenburg, and the word "förövaren" in Swedish means "perpetrator", but with the hyphen inserted - förö-varen - it means something like "the Förö being" (the word doesn't exist in Swedish... oh well... NOW it does... ;-) I put the score on the stand during a recording session of other music with Kinga Práda, flute and Mathias Kjellgren, organ, and this is what they played at first sight reading the piece. Nice work, I think!

Sagvik: Sommarnattsvind ~ Summer Night's Wind - - - A little song to my daughter that I wrote and recorded many years ago, when she was four - she is now 36 and has her own daughter... I play all instruments, and recorded on my then very high tech four track Teac standard cassette machine, that was all new at the time ;-) All the pictures for the video I borrowed from a photo competition site with the theme "Swedish Summer". The lyrics of the song are something like "Slowly it moves, the cotton veil The night is mild and tender Awaken small fingers touching the fabric pinching it a little So hard to fall a sleep in the sweet Summer night glimpses of light in your room Summer Night's wind, whispering in the garden tree shy like a deer, touching you cheek Rosy and round you open the garden gate My Sun child, daughter in Summer Night's Wind.... Naked feet touching the grass the soil is still warm Awaken Eyes searching the shadows The world is like a dream Exciting landscape for four year old lass ' Where are you, dear Sandman' ? "

Sagvik: Symphony #2 "ANALGETIKA" - Härnösand Orchestra - - - This is an old recording of the first performance of my second symphony "ANALGETIKA" (meaning "painkiller" in medicine language, like heavy aspirin...). The orchestra is Härnösand Orchestra Society, an amateur ensemble (with rather short rehearsal time - can be heard ;-) conducted by the late Ansgar Krook, who was a rising star at the time, but unfortunately died way too young some years later, only 30 years old. He was a dear friend, so this piece could serve as a "painkiller" for sorrow, but it was written as ANALGETIKA for a broken heart; for curing the winter that took over after a hot relation that never became reality, more than in hopes and mind... The music is built totally on two anagram - the names of the couple in the story, translated into notes, one with five tones and the other with six - so you could almost call the Symphony somewhat serial twelve-tone in building (but that might scare someone away, so let's just call it "ANALGETIKA" ) (The third Symphony "METAMORA" you find here: http://fandalism.com/stellansagvik/cafu )

Sagvik: from rhapsody "Morfar Spelkarl"(GranPa the Fiddler) - - - A live performance - Another short excerpt from the rhapsody "Morfar Spelkarl", for Mezzo, harp and flutes, built on a mix of traditional Swedish songs, medieval tunes (mainly from Adam de la Halle) and my own pastisch melodies, performed in 1976 by an ensemble from Norrlandsoperan in Sweden. Monica Sjöholm is the Mezzo and storyteller. The plot was a tale about how girl meets boy in an old peasant village 100 years ago, and some stories around that - nothing dramatic, very nice and suitable for performing at a home for elderly people, maybe reminding the audience of its youth ;-)

Sagvik: Without End - adapted Incredible String Band Themes - - - I made this little free arrangement of two themes by Robin Williamson and Mike Heron of legendary Incredible Stringband - hippie/world music icons of the 60's - for my group Musikgruppen RAA when we a couple of years ago did a CD dedicated to OUR versions of ISB songs in Swedish (GASON CD743 - www.gason.se) However it turned out that I ended up with only this demo for the CD, as the other guys thought they could not contribute MORE to this Ravel-ish epic ;-) So I play almost ALL instruments (except for some bars of Saz, played by Håkan Johansson and some Domra, played by Kaj Magnusson), and Bert Kolker supplied the confused, coffee making elderly gent, overheard in between the great number of notes from different sizes of flutes, clarinets, tárogatós, oboes, tinwhistles, bass and percussion... ( I think there are at least 20 overdubs...)

Sagvik: Skogsrået (the creature of the woods), old demo song - - - One of my old teenager songs, written and recorded sometime in the old age with a simple sound on sound tape recorder and one electrec mike and several overdubs - I play all the instruments... The story is an old folklore tale abour the creature of the woods. The story goes: "Skogsrået (the forest raw) was a creature of the forest in Swedish folklore. She was mostly a female mistress of the forest, conductor of wild animals that she sometimes brings to them she fancies. She attracts hikers astray and seduce men she takes a liking to. From the front, she is beautiful and attractive, but seen from behind, her back is often hollow like an old tree. Further north, in Dalecarlia district and other pasture areas, she has got a foxtail that sometimes sticks out under the dress. Anyone who had sexual intercourse with a forest raw sometimes becomes mute and taciturn - his soul has stayed with her."

Sagvik/trad arr: "När månen vandrar" with Duo Pránky - - - This is one of my earliest arrangements, originally for flute, guitars and double bass, written by a young teenager back in the 60's. It's an old Swedish folk song "När månen vandrar på fästet blå och tittar in genom rutan". A couple of years ago when I started collaborating with Duo Pránky I re-wrote the arrangement for flute and cello. The text to the song is "När månen vandrar på fästet blå och tittar in genom rutan, då tänker jag understundom så, och knäpper sakta på lutan: Vad du är lycklig du måne klara som får så högt över jorden fara, och blott se på". That is: "When the moon wanders across the blue skies, looking through my window, I think like this, while I play my lute: How happy you are, shiny moon, that may float so high above the earth, and just look down". Duo Pránky (Kinga Práda, flute, Emese Jánky, cello) is playing at a live concert in Grödinge church outside Stockholm, Sweden. (A CD recorded "studio" version of this piece is also shared here on Fanda, but I thought it is nice to WATCH the performance of these beautiful ladies as well ;-)

Sagvik/Lucidor: "Skulle iagh söria då vore iagh tokot" - - - The Swedish poet Lasse Johansson lived in the mid 16-hundreds in Stockholm. He called himself "Lasse Lucidor - the unhappy" and wrote poetry of the sad and profond style rather common in those days. He was killed in a quarrel fight with a lieutenant in one of the very many bars and beer restaurants in the town (it is said that there was almost one bar for every citizen...) This text "Skulle iagh söria då vore iagh tokot" (meaning "If I was to moan I would be crazy") is from one of Lasse Lucidor's poem collections and I made a pastiche melody, could have been written in the 17th century, no? This is a mix of two performances: The first is with Monica Sjöholm, and Norrlandsoperan ensemble from a play called "Morfar Spelkarl" (written and performed in 1976, a bad cassette recording), the other is a short outcut from a 45 min song suite called "En natt i maj" (One night in May) with Olle Persson, Carl Unander-Scharin and KammarensembleN conducted by Ansgar Krook in 1986.

Welcome onboard an almost two hours vacational Swedish musical trip in beautiful pictures! Sagvik: From the rhapsody "Morfar Spelkarl" - Spelkarlen - - - In the early 70's I wrote a rhapsody on Swedish folklore for NorrlandsOperan (the Opera in far North of Sweden). It was meant to be played in homes for elderly people and in hospitals, so the music could not be too extreme. It was also in the form of a story, told by the singer, together with a Harper and a Recorder player. I think at least 20 to 30 performances were made. One of the songs - Spelkarlen ("The folk player", my original song, not folklore) - was recorded separately by Musikgruppen RAA (established in 1973 and still going strong...). Some pictures of RAA from different periods are interfolded with nature scenes and other comments to the Swedish lyrics. And at the end I sneak in a cut-out from the original rhapsody performance with an ensemble from NorrlandsOperan, Monica Sjöholm is the singer.

Sagvik: Snirklan from Boel's Dances with Duo Pránky --- A short virtuoso dance from the little theatre music suite Boel's Dances. This is the final dance and it is called "Snirklan" - meaning something like "the embellishing". Duo Pránky - Kinga Práda, flute and Emese Jánky, cello - is playing at a live concert in Enskede Church in Stockholm, Sweden in 2011.

Sagvik: 12 Preludes for piano, with Stefan Lindgren - - - A set of complete slide shows, earlier shared one by one, but now presented in correct sequence; my 12 PRELUDES, played by fantastic pianist Stefan Lindgren, from the double CD "KLAVERAMA" released by nosag records (www.nosag.se) in May 2014. The CDs contain all my music for solo piano - 2 hours 15 minutes of varied music. The CDs also contain all scores as pdf files, so you can play along if you wish... ;-) The 12 PRELUDES are music style studies that I wrote during my time of studying with Lars-Erik Rosell - he was a very inspiring teacher, but also very demanding and with enormous knowledge about music history, technics and style. Listeners with an ear for tradition can easily pinpoint the historical gestures that are paraphrased in this music collection. 1. The Drowning Cathedral 2. Danse Rosée 3. Elektrauss 4. Sontate ecritée 5. Choralissimo 6. Triondoro 7. Arabeskt 8. Repli 9. Miksi 10. Tanza 11. Ballade 12. Sagvik: Canticum Szeretni, closing movement, Song of Songs - - - This is the closing title "Love is Strong as Death" from my suite "Canticum Szeretni" on texts from Song of Songs, attributed to King Solomon, the son of King David in Old Testament. The text is one of the most hot and beautiful love poems in litterature. The Canticum suite is often combined with my "Szeretni Canticum" and in that version it is a 50 minutes piece for Mezzo, Tenor, organ and String Quartet. Here you hear Margaretha Melz, Carl Unander-Scharin (enters in the end of this movement) and organist Ralph Gustafsson. The whole suite is available on nosag CD 008 from www.nosag.se. Another 15 minute excerpt is also shared here on Fandalism: http://fandalism.com/stellansagvik/cBA6

- - - This was written for a radio play for children in the 70's. The story is about a little girl, Boel, who has a rough time but anyway is joyful and happy most of the time. She doesn't have many friends, so she spends a lot of time in the woods and in the fields with the animals. This little dance is when she is playing with rabbits, frogs, deers and foxes in the open landscape. She gets abused, but nobody seems to notice, so she goes down, down, in self disrespect... But one day she hears a voice saying "You'll do!" and that's a turning point; she gets new energy and manages to get back to her joyful self again with new strength. I play all instruments in this demo, it was done without clicktrack or other fancy gadgets - only with a sound-on-sound tape recorder, so you can hear that I am out of time with myself now and then. But it was good enough for the ensemble to get an idea about the thing... ;-)

Sagvik: "al Ulfo" played by Stefan Lindgren, piano solo - - - This is a rather funny thing: I wrote this piece - "al Ulfo" - to a friend of mine in the early 70's - he was then very interested in electronics, sound equipment, fixing with tape recorders and speakers and so on (long before computers....) Then he started studying programming, and is today a full blooded technician. BUT he also played the piano - thus this piece. The title of the piece comes from his name - Ulf - and the subtitles of the movements are technical phrases like "Interluding Resistance"... Imagine: when I now prepared this little slideshow for the music, to my suprize the word "ulfo" led me to electronic equipment... Today! I just HAD to use some pictures with these gadgets, to illustrate the music from more than 40 years back ;-) Stefan Lindgren, the genius pianist, is playing from the double CD "Klaverama" (www.nosag.se) containing all my music for piano solo. - - - Please also visit Stefan Lindgren on Fandalism: http://fandalism.com/pianistlindgren

Sagvik: Clog Dance/Träskodans with Musikgruppen RAA - - - This is a piece I built on a traditional 4 bars Dutch theme - a clog dance - here played by Swedish Musikgruppen RAA (and an unexpected guest forces himself into the dance; where did he come from...?) Wooden shoes are worn as an essential part of the traditional costume for Dutch clogging, or Klompendanskunst. Clogs for dancing are made lighter than the traditional 700-year-old design. The soles are made from ash wood, and the top part is cut lower by the ankle. Dancers create a rhythm by tapping the toes and heels on a wooden floor. This tune played here by Musikgruppen RAA seems to miss a beat or two here and there, probably due to the difficulty of dancing with wooden shoes...

Sagvik: choir motet "Wait for me" on Zephaniah 3 - - - A rather harsh choir motet on a mysterious text from the prophet Zephaniah, speaking about when the Lord will return in anger and gather all nations, pouring out his wrath on them... Maybe he is talking about today's situation? But the meek and humble will be untouched. Heavy stuff! I set the text to a diffuse and unpredictible music; the eight voices from St Jacobs Chamber Choir act almost individually - who are you? Are you among the meek and humble? "Therefore wait for me," declares the Lord, "for the day I will stand up to testify. I have decided to assemble the nations, and to pour out my wrath on them— all my fierce anger. But I will leave within you the meek and humble. They will do no wrong; they will tell no lies. They will eat and lie down and no one will make them afraid." (from Zephaniah 3)

Sagvik: Boel Dances, for flute solo, with Kinga Práda - - - Three small Boel Dances, originally written for a radio play for children, are about a lonely little girl in the city, who is longing for friends and playing, but she is not sad: she finds friends to play with in the meadows and in the woods, she dances with birds, foxes, rabbits... and butterflies; these beautiful creatures of uncountable variation and colour. A little relaxing entertainment, played by Kinga Práda on her shining silver flute. Recorded in the little church of Bygdeå i North of Sweden, the little stone church built in 14th century has a very smoothe and sweet sound - no extra reverb needed ;-)

It is on the text from Acts 2, about Pentecost and the words are: "And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues" Sung by eight singers from St Jacobs Chamber Choir at a live concert in Sofia Church of Stockholm, Sweden, in 1992.

Sometimes we play some of my pieces, as we do in this live recording from 1980 something. This is a special RAA arrangement of the beginning and of the ending part of a larger work - YOUGO - composed for Tenor and chamber ensemble, in a somewhat ethnic ideoma (You can find the whole piece in original scoring here: https://soundcloud.com/stellan-sagvik/yougo ) The lyrics are in Swedish: I ett dis öppnas ljusets vägars dörr låter ögat ge törst åt värmens hav Kan vi gå ut i dimman som ligger tät eller stannar vi här? Morgondagens ljusa strimmor öppnar hoppets lystenhet låter ögat ana gryning och en vaken öppenhet frisk är brisen ifrån havet kustens saltstänk når hitin Fri är vinden, visar själen vägen mot ett öppet sinn meaning something like this: In a haze the door of the roads of light opens allows the eye to give thirst to the oceans of warmth Can we go out into the fog that is dense or are we stopping here? Tomorrow's light streaks open lust of hope allows the eye to sense the dawn and an alert openness healthy is the breeze from the sea coastal salt spray reaches hither Free is the wind, shows the soul the way toward an open mind

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses to the end of the earth." - And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. - "This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven." Sagvik: Prelude, Flute, Organum & Postlude for flute & organ - - - This is strict twelve-tone music, and believe it or not; it was written to the baptismal rite for my first born daughter... The congregation was rather shocked when I played it together with a friend at the cermony. The priest did not now when the music was finished so he several times tried to continue the rite (maybe he wanted to end the suffering...) during the piece. The musical material is derivated from the letters of my daughter's name - very ingenious... (She turned out rather well in spite of this; she is now 41 ;-) This recording is from a live concert in 1992 in Sofia Church of Stockholm with my good friends Professor Ralph Gustafsson, organ, and Mats Möller, flute.

Sagvik: trad arr When the moon wanders across the blue skies - - - This is one of the very first arrangements I made - I think I was 16, and played in an ensemble with flute (me), four guitars and a double bass. When I started collaborating with Duo Pránky some years ago I re-wrote the arrangement for flute and cello. The tune is an old Swedish folksong "När månen vandrar på fästet blå och tittar in genom rutan, då tänker jag understundom så, och knäpper sakta på lutan: Vad du är lycklig du måne klara som får så högt över jorden fara, och blott se på" That's: "When the moon wanders across the blue skies, looking through my window, I think like this, while I play my lute: How happy you are, shiny moon, that may float so high above the earth, and just look down" The original was written as a comment on one of my first speaches in class when I held a scientific (ehr... very basic) lecture about the sun and started my talk with the often quoted joke " Why is the Moon more important than the Sun? Because the Sun shines during the day when it's light and we don't need it. The Moon shines at night when it is dark and we DO need it" (I think it's originally credited to a Russian astronomy professor, I cannot remember the name - can you?) Duo Pránky (Kinga Práda, flute, Emese Jánky, cello) is playing from their up-coming CD "Samling" on nosag records - www.nosag.se

Sagvik: Trio concertino for flute, viola, guitar & strings - - - I wrote ten small concertini built on Swedish folklore melodies - not arrangements but twisting and turning the material into another dish. Nine of the pieces are built on traditional folklore tunes from different districts of Sweden (you can find some of them here on Fandalism), but for the tenth Concertino - this little sorrowful snow lacking winter meditation (the panorama photo is from New Years Eve 2013!) - I used original melodies of my own, orginally written for theatre plays or opera arias. Here I re-use them in the same way as had they been folklore that got an overhaul ;-) All ten concertini you find on nosag CD 2028 from www.nosag.se. The Trio Concertino is played by Kinga Práda, flute, Nils-Erik Sparf, viola, Jakob Henriques, guitar and Stockholm String Ensemble. I took the liberty to conduct myself...

He is the Righteous One, the Victor! He will disarm all peoples of the earth, and he shall bring peace among the nations. His realm shall stretch from sea to sea, from the river to the ends of the earth." Sung by St Jacobs motet choir, concucted by Maria Forsström at a live concert in Sofia Church of Stockholm in 1992.

Stellan Sagvik: Praharp for solo cello, with Tommy Svanström - - - A little cello solo piece, PRAHARP (that is the name of the Czech capital front- and backwards at the same time ;-) I met a cellist when I visited Prague just before the revoulution in 1989. He asked me if I had something written for his instrument. As I did not have I went back to the hotel and composed this piece, delivered it to him the next morning. My dear friend Tommy Svanström made the first performance of the music (he is the player that performed the most number of my works - at least 25 pieces he played since I came to know him in 1971; he was there with his cello in the ensemble during the very first professional concert performance of music by my hand. He also took part in the first performances of all my String Quartets). This is a recording from a concert in Studio 2 at Swedish Radio in 1993. The beautiful panorama picture ( by ~ Pil ~ ) from the old town square of Praha awakens memories of the time when this music was written.

Sagvik: Azuúr 13 - Lilla Akademien's flute&guitar ensemble - - - This is the sixth (I think... maybe... I lost count) generation ensemble from music school Lilla Akademien in Stockholm to learn my little piece Azuúr by heart and performing it in concert. It is also the biggest sized version with seven flutes (five flute grande and two altos) and six guitars (with one contra guitar). This time it was performed on February 16 2014 at Musikaliska in Stockholm, Sweden. The flute & guitar ensemble was, as always, choreographed by teachers/musicians Kinga Práda and Jenny Horn at Lilla Akademien.

Sagvik: Upplandia Concertino for clarinet and strings - - - This little Concertino is built on melodic material from the region Uppland in Sweden, a county well-known for its keyed fiddle music tradition but also - more unusual in Swedish folklore - music for folk clarinet; several players among the peasants played clarinet instead of fiddle or keyed fiddle. I used tunes from this landscape, twisted and turned them as a material and played around with it - not arranging but messing about ;-) I wrote ten of these small concertini for strings and varied solo instruments. Many of them are available here on Fandalism. (The Sea Eagle, seen in some pictures in this video, is the symbolic animal of this region of Sweden)This clarinet concertino is played by Liviu Gocan from Cluj-Napoca in Transilvania together with his collegues from Filarmonica de Cluj. I am the conductor and the recording is from nosag CD 2028, available from www.nosag.se.

Sagvik: Agonia83 - Midi version of Artie Shaw tribute - - - One of my favorite musicians from the old days is amazing clarinet maestro Artie Shaw. He had very unique ideas about what to do with a jazz orchestra, or chamber jazz ensemble - one example: He used string quartet in many of his arrangements, giving a special flavour and clang to the music, and his clarinet playing style was totally different from his contemporary jazz musicians. Fascinating man, who had some agony problems with his mind and "disappeared" from stage and recording for many years. He returned in his old days and did some remarkable recordings. This piece of mine - AGONIA83 - is a tribute to this gentleman - using a scent of one of his most well-known pieces "Nightmare" as a basic colour. The music is not yet performed, so here I use a midi version - it was programmed on an Atari computer about 25 years ago with some MT32:s as sound modules (remember them? 32 voices multitimbral...), so the sound is not very up to date, nor very enjoyable, but I thought I anyway give it at try; I think it's a nice piece, and hopefully some big band somewhere can take it as a challenge ;-) The enervating mute-like-sounding solo voice that is heard over the rest in the mix is supposed to impersonate the vocal soloist, singing a real "agonic" text with absurd and surreal values. The part is also possible to play as instrumental lead with ad lib solo fills.

The conflict, solved by Jesus, is told with the words of John 12. St Jacob Motet Choir is singing, Maria Forsström conducting at a live concert in Sofia Church of Stockholm in 1992.

Sagvik/Wilde: Requiescat - grief music for Tenor & organ - - - Oscar Wilde wrote the poem REQUIESCAT, one of his most loved and recited, and without any of the Wildeish sarcasms or irony, or even wit. It is included in his collection Rosa Mystica. Requiescat was written at Avignon seven years after his sister, Isola, died (23 February 1867), less than two months before her 10th birthday. Wilde was 12 at the time of her death. This music for grief I wrote for tenor and organ, but it was originally composed for tenor solo with wind orchestra, a rather pomposa score. I later re-wrote it for chorus a capella, and finally this more intimate version, possible to sound as a solemn funeral meditation. One of my very favourite singers, Carl Unander-Scharin, is singing together with one of my favourite organists, Ralph Gustafsson, at a live concert in the Sofia Church of Stockholm in January 1992.

Sagvik: Marios bro - first performance by Vigovajk Sagvik - - - You should not hang out your children on the Internet, but I think this is rather cute. My son Vigovajk doesn't like to practice very much... So in an attempt to make him, I wrote a paraphrase on a well-known music (by Koji Kondo) from a computer game. The title Marios bro is a play with words in Swedish and the meaning is "The bridge of Mario" - a little slip and misplacing of an "s" can totally change the meaning of a (para-)phrase and the meaning with practicing ;-) The VERY BAD recording (with an old type of not so smart phone) was done a couple of years ago when my son was 8 years old and played the first performance of this (fortunately short) masterpiece during a pianist competition in Stockholm, Sweden. He did not win - could it have been because of the music...? "Game over"!

Sagvik: Suit Piano - pianist Stefan Lindgren - - - This is one of the very first pieces I wrote for piano, way back in 1968. I got a metronome as a present, that old type in the shape of a pyramide and with names of different tempi/musical moods written alongside the pendulum. So.... I planned to write a suite of piano pieces, one for each marked tempo, about 30 pieces in all or so, starting composing a Largo M=40. Then I wrote Lento - slightly "quicker" speed. Then I got bored and wrote an Allegretto, and closed the suite...The amazing pianist Stefan Lindgren recorded all my music for the piano on the double CD set nosag CD2200 produced by www.nosag.se, released in Spring 2014. Several of the pieces are available here on Fandalism. - - - Please also visit Stefan Lindgren on Fandalism: http://fandalism.com/pianistlindgren
