How long have you been playing?
Started at the age of 17. Always was in love with music, and guitar appealed to me since I was a kid, but never really had the opportunity to learn it. I learned how to play by watching a few friends.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
One of the most influential bands (personally): Deftones (headlining, The Roseland Ballroom [2000]). Taproot and Incubus opened.
What are you looking for from Fandalism?
I guess it all comes down to networking & exposure. I personally like meeting people with similar tastes in music. In addition, Fandalism could do with a link to another page that could contain far more detailed information regarding our music, websites, etc.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Deftones, Helmet, Rage Against the Machine, Megadeth, Prong, Weezer (first 2 albums only), Nada Surf (first 2), Toadies, Nirvana, Catherine Wheel, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Teenage Fanclub, Ocean Colour Scene, the Lemonheads, Meat Puppets, Dinosaur Jr., Superdrag, Reef, Supergrass, Stabbing Westward, Clutch, AC/DC (Powerage), Creedence Clearwater Revival, Grandfunk Railroad, Tom Petty, Beatles, Beastie Boys, 2Pac, King T, KRS-One, Delinquent Habits, DJ Quik, DeVante Swing, Heavy D, Gang Starr, Eric Sermon & Parish Smith, Daz Dillinger.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
This album was my solo project - everything written & predominantly recorded by me. I had a previous band in NY (2004-2009) called One Last Monsoon.
However, after many-a-request, June marked the formation of a full-fledged band, consisting of 5 members, officially making up the Koniac Net.

If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
All of the Deftones, Page Hamilton, the French Kicks, and the Kissaway Trail
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Most memorable: playing my last gig in New York at CBGB's, the week they were permanently closing down.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Deftones - Around the Fur. I've heard this album a good 1000 times, and my hair still stands listening to it today.

This time I’m going to make it right
This time I’m going to save your life
Even if it leaves my soul debarred
Even if it tears my world apart
This time I’m going to get it right
This time I’m going to save our lives
Even if it stains and wears our hearts
Even if it tears us all apart!
You worry too much!
Your trial of me’s undone
Let me care for us
Last time to get all this right
Last try: please let me save your life
Even if it breaks my world apart
Even it if means we’ll tare apart!
You worry too much!
Your trial of me’s undone
Let me care for us
Back by tonight
No need for forgiveness
I’ve stood by your side and
Proclaimed
By morning light
We’ll be past this whole mess
You will thank me over and over
You will thank me over and over
You will grant mine closer
You will thank me over and over

My friend, why are you sitting all alone?
Did that girl rend your heart again?
Did she shift you aside for a fresher site of eye?
You let yourself fold under her fix
Oh Maggie, did you leave my boy again (my boy again)?
Did you tare and feed away at him whole again (at him whole again)?
Tell me, how have you been taking it?
I’ve looked into your eyes and found despair
Did you lash out inside, or curse her so she’d die?
With all that you gave she still complained
(‘cause Maggie: )
He could have done it all for you
He would have brought the stars down
So that the heavens could envy
And maybe someday you would
See him the way you always should
To hear him call again
Pray that he sings again
Oh Maggie, did you leave my boy again (my boy again)?
Did you tare and feed away at him whole again (at him whole again)?

Look outside: a view of pouring rain
Keep wondering which of all my choices to blame
(I) Believe it was all of them
(I) Believe none at all made sense
I missed…
I might not be a man no more
Certainly not one to fight for
A place in the priced
My immaculate path
Should have done something full proof
Should have foreseen in my youth
There’s no turning back around
No winding back countdowns
Still in love with my Muses
Look outside: a view of pouring rain
Keep wondering which of all my choices to blame

Everyone seems to be having fun
I’m sitting here: I’m the only one
For the days that passed on by promising change
Like the sun that was to come, but never came
Lately I have seen some funny things
Like man who sells himself, limb from limb
And the world passes on by promising change
But I’m still sitting right here alone, estranged
I’m losing control: can’t take it all back
I’m losing control: can’t take it all back
I’m losing it all: assurance made off
I’m losing control… plain lost it all
Everyone seems to be having fun
I’m sitting here: I’m the only one
I’m losing control: can’t take it all back
I’m losing control: can’t take it all back
Plain lost it all! Plain lost it all!
I’m losing control: can’t take it all back!
Come another rain and wash us all
Backsliders to be baptized once more
Mould and bring us back to life, AMEN!
Build us up so we can slay again!
Everyone seems to be
Having their own silly fun
Am I the only one who sees:
These days are but marked and done

So, I’m just in here
Hanging out my skin to dry
Back six pages
Is when I abandoned my life
All that’s happened began…
Began with a lie
Erstwhile demure looked at…
Looked at askance
Redeem? I’ve shed my child away
Oh, I’ve shed my child away
So, could I leave here
And make it back to innocence?
Simper as I
Hold on to form of “then”
Regress to a start
For what it’s worth today
Prefer a steady route…
How the ardent change?
Redeem? I’ve shed my child away
Regain? I led my child astray
Redeem…?
I’d like,
To try and rearrange
(To) those days
Before the leap of lanes
Some day
I’d like to go home
(To) those days
Where I once roamed… where I once roamed
Take me back home
Where I once roamed
