Hi folks here is a Great Musical piece and video created by Fanda's own John Wegner and Kai Leibert , they wrote a strong message and one that we could all take some heed from, "Rise Above the Noise" All music and lyrics, video were created by these two very talented gentleman and I was lucky enough to help with some voice work, my contribution was small and really just a stroke of their musical paint brush. It was an honor and I hope you will enjoy the piece of art from these two talented artist. I have been busy with a new job and I know that I owe a couple tracks to some friends and I hope to get to those very soon and my apologies for the delay. I hope to carve out some time and get to these real soon. As always my many thanks for stopping by for a listen, always appreciated! Peace and Love =M=

Rise above the Noise, a collaboration with Kaiboard (composition, keyboards, music production), Paul Wegner (drums, percussion), Mauricio Garay (vocals, vocal ideas) and myself (composition, lyrics, guitar, bass, video production). It’s amazing how long this took to finish, over two years. It only seems like yesterday that we talked about a project on how social media was changing and shaping society. There was the arab spring, the bizarre way of how politicians (mis)use twitter and the exponential growth of self marketing on all social media. We had many ideas and many were discarded. When the song had a little bit more structure we asked Paul to play the drums on what had evolved into a complex track. He did this with aplomb in his usual precise and creative style. Next, we asked Mauricio and fortunately he joined the project as well. We have been impressed by his vocals for a long time and were excited to have his versatile and colorful voice to add a new dimension to this song. The voices of Jack (my father in law) and Pauline (Kai’s daughter) are the little extras that add spice and diversity to the track. Thanks to everyone involved and especially to my musical brother Kai!

Separate Realities is a lighthearted take on the theme of “Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus” and was written to be sung by a man and a woman. This video was made by Kent Taylor four years ago, while recording a demo drum track along to my guide vocal track. It was at this point that my productive motivation seized up, so it didn't get finished. Until I get into full productivity again I am taking “baby steps”, learning new software and I thought this song would work ok as it is, if I could just put some captions on the video to indicate what the man (blue) and woman (pink) are singing to each other, or singing together (white). In this way I can begin to reintroduce myself to Fandalism, hoping to inspire 'full creativity mode' in myself sometime soon! Meantime, I hope you enjoy this one :-))

Rise above the Noise, a collaboration with John Wegner (composition, lyrics, guitar, bass, video production), Mauricio Garay (vocals, lyrics ideas) and Paul Wegner (drums, percussion) and Kaiboard (composition, keyboards, music production). Wow, this was a long journey. It was two years ago that John and I talked about a project how social media change and shape our society, might it be during the arab spring, the bizarre way of how politicians (mis)use twitter or the self marketing in all social media platforms. We created many ideas and discarded even more. As the song had a little bit more structure we asked Paul to play the drums on this pretty tricky piece. He did this in his usual precise and creative style. Fortunately Mauricio joined the project as well. I wanted to do a song with him since a long time and it was a perfect match. His versatile and colorful voice added a new dimension to this song. The voices of Jack (John's father in law) and Pauline (my daughter) are the little gems that made this song special for us. Thanks to all involved people and especially to my musical brother John Wegner!

Tired of Trying - original Cadence Beck Published on Nov 16, 2018 llyrics in song written 'in the moment', nov2018 When faced with assisting my own daughter with moving forward and upwardly with her life, when faced with insurmountable odds against, not only 'her', with her formal, licensed education, trying to assist the 'many' who need (childcare licensed, and early childhood education in our provincial Capital) (2018) yet she and her formally educated partner are forced into severe debt DEBT and more debt just to offer services to the many parents whom need child CARE that is delivered in an educated and caring way, by caring adults, ladies whom have spent large sums already, but whom are restricted at every move, every corner. They scoured the city for 'suitable locations that could be zoned child/daycare, in a commercial setting. They could only find one in the entire core city area that 'would' be allowed, AFTER, huge renovations and certifications are made. Carpenters fine. But they say they need 'architects' and engineers, ALL paid, paid, paid, city planners, restrictions, $$$ every place you turn. Needless to say, I 'blew up'. Its the same with rents and homelessness and lack of security on every side, on a global scale. Then you see, we have all be trying far too long. It must end. THAT, my friends, is where songs 'ignite'.
