Hop Along Bell's
No. 22 (original)
Just in a happy mood, and with Christmas around the corner ,, I felt like Hop, Hop,
I added some video images with the track, a bit of fun and a bit religious! Christmas is not just to party it also has a meaning , which we should not forget!
I enjoyed making it, and I hope you do too!

How long have you been playing?
I think I was about 15 when I picked up my older brothers' electric guitar, it was just standing in the corner! That was in the 60's. There was enough music going around, to convince me that I had to become a musician, like all the others at that time! The biggest impact on me where The Rolling Stones!
So I am playing quite a long time, and still learning. I am a One Man Band! Recording my music at home but love to play in a band again!
So I am playing quite a long time, and still learning. I am a One Man Band! Recording my music at home but love to play in a band again!
What was the first concert you ever went to?
Pink Floyd! It was in the 60's in Amsterdam, my older brothers took me to a 'poptempel' called 'Paradiso' in Amsterdam and it still exist. My memory: I never heard of Pink Floyd before ( I was still at school ) But what I saw and heard, made a lasting impression on me! Especially, later - when David Gilmour joint the group!
Consequence: it made me loose my ducktail ... Ha, Ha,

What gear do you use?
I have got a Cort electric guitar, cheap but I love playing on it!
A Marvin acoustic 6 string, I can play hours on it and is good for strengthening my ring-finger and Pinky, especially playing on the lower E' and A' strings!
My favorite guitar must be a Fender & Gibson!

Can't You Hear Me Knocking No.39
Song: by The Rolling Stones!
This track started out as guitar practice, and found myself playing parts of this song! So I decided to work on this song and finish it as a instrumental.! To my own taste that is!!
But hearing the result I knew there had to be vocals! So I added the vocals! [not easy]
The song starts with the traditional singing part, next the [saxophone] part, that I replaced with a slow sounding guitar!
[don't play the sax] slowly turning into the funky guitar solo! At the end you'll find some pieces of the guitar practice I left on the track!
I added some foto and video images!
I hope you will like my version .!!

Window of my eyes No. 37-B
Jos Bots,
a very capable Dutch keyboardist and member of the group Haggleslag, sent me a backing track
he made from a song called Window of my eyes!
This song was released in 1968 by the Dutch super blues band; Cuby + Blizzards [ check it out ]
Featuring one of Hollands finest guitarists by the name : Eelco Gelling, he has a distinctive style!
Well, Jos asked me if I was interested to fill in the missing lead guitars and vocals, I didn't have to think very long and agreed!
I was worried though doing the vocals, as I'm not a singer!
I think, I surprised myself!
I also added some bass guitars for a more fuller sound!
Thank you Jos for inviting me to join you on this musical journey!
Your a great musician and fine person! So nice to know you!
Enjoy!!!

Get Off My Cloud No 36
A Rolling Stones song 1965
After a two month break --
This cover we done, Alan & Wim is our 3rd collaboration!
Is a cover song in the style by Alexis Corner!
Actually Alexis left the 'of' out in the Title, but no one will notice!
Alan asked if I was interested in doing this song, and I liked it! Thank you Alan!!!!!!!!!
So I made up the backing music and video, and Alan send me some bits to use in the film and took the lead vocals in his typical Cockney accent!
I answered the telephone and did the chorus!
The outcome is quite funny I think, and Alan & I hope to get some nice comments and [ many ] Props hehe !

Traveling Son Posting No. 22
This (original) tune, I would like to dedicate to my son Matthew! He travels the World as an Commissioning Engineer and at the moment he is in the USA for his work.
(so far from home) which is Holland!
So I made up this track and added some pictures of the places he's been and where he was born: Africa!!!
Starting the traveling off with a picture of him as a little boy, then some years later, taking the plane to a foreign country!
When we lived in Africa we 'shot' a video of some 'elephants' at a waterhole, close to Victoria Falls! That's Paradise!
(Save the Elephants) = (Save the Rhino's)
From there onwards we travel across the Ocean to the USA!
At the end of the film, young Matthew can be seen, just before we set of for Holland!
The music is kind a different then my usual, so I hope you like it!!! I put a bit of indian drums in the middle to make it more appropriate
(old america's) while he is in America!
Hope you like it Matthew,
