I was fourteen years old and introduced to drumming by my life long friend, Roger Miller. After watching him play and.me.trying it out, I just became a.natural at it and I thank him to this day because I love.it.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
First concert I ever went to was to see Kiss. I was eleven years old at The Spectrum in Philadelphia. I was hooked on performing someday. Seeing the energy transform from the.guys on stage to the crowd, I knew I wanted to be a performer from that moment on.
What gear do you use?
I have a Tama Rock Star eight piece double bass kit. My favorite pieces are my double bass pedals and my Sabian AAX cymbals
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
My biggest influence growing up was Peter Criss of Kiss. First time I heard Kiss Alive I was hooked. Neil Peart of Rush soon replaced Peter though as my favorite drummer. Neil is just so cool and calculated to watch.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I have been a local musician for over twenty eight years with Temporarily Yours, Charisma, Locomotion,Alibi,Stay For Breakfast, After The Fall, and currently Steppin Back. We play shows as often as we can.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
The guys of Bad Company. I have also seen them live. Those guys have fun on stage but never lose sight of the music.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
The biggest show I ever played was for a party for The.Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club in Reeds Gap Pa with Locomotion. The smallest venue I ever played was The Peacock Bar in Pottsville Pa. The Reeds Gap gig had thousands. The Peacock Bar about 40.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Wow too hard to answer that question. But I would definitely would want Rush 2112.
