How long have you been playing?
I've had my own tunes as far back as I can remember, about 4 years old
What was the first concert you ever went to?
Boston with Sammy Hagar opening, Feb 1979
What gear do you use?
Keyboards and guitars, many of both. I use Propellerhead Reason, which is pretty amazing. Roli Seaboard, Roland D-50, Yamaha EX7, Arturia Keylab 49 midi USB controller, Carvin AE 150 guitar, Carvin Quad-X Amp, Ovation acoustic guitar, Sterling ST55 and ST31 microphones. Various rack mount effects and sound modules.
What are you looking for from Fandalism?
To share my music and hear other like-minded creative souls
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Yes, Genesis and Rush were amazing to me along with Jimi Hendrix. Another band that I thought was cool was Starcastle. I have always had a deep love of orchestral music, but I find myself listening to a lot of different types of music.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I am in a long distance tribal communion, music and art. I am part of Anasazi. I am also known as Arc V. Moon (Arcturus Vermilion Moon)
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Jimi Hendrix, Steve Howe, Alex Lifeson and Steve Hackett are my biggest guitar influences. Rick Wakeman, Tony Banks, Keith Emerson, Vangelis and Herb Schildt are my biggest Keyboard influences. Also would love to meet and jam with Steven Wilson, his music is incredible. There are actually a lot of people, way too many to name.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
A crowd of about 500 med school students. The smallest was about 15
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Yes- Close the Edge. First heard it when I was a kid, I already liked Yes but this was incredible. Also anything with Steven Wilson on it. I'd also sneak a copy of Genesis- The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.
