1978. In Sweden in my mothers belly. Nothing but I still sense the vibes
What gear do you use?
Who cares?
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
2pac. I saw an interview with Tupac on the set of the movie Poetic Justice. Janet Jackson had asked for an Aids test and he said if he'd get to sleep with her he would take 10 Aids tests. He was funny, beautiful and charming. Then I listened to his music and it was both soulfull and the lyrics were real and radical.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
Moonstyx and Helgi Valur & the Shemales. The Moonstyx met in school while the Shemales are ever changing and elusive. What do you mean do we play shows?! ....Rarely
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Nina Simone is one of the best female musician of our time and also a righteus chick with a beautiful soul. I would like to jam Feeling good and Mississipi Goddamn. Then I could experience her anger as well as her optimism.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Laugardalshöllin. 5000 maybe. 2 people in Akranes and most memorable the Grand Babushka hostel in Odessa, Ukraine.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Good question. Extraordinary Machine with Fiona Apple. I first heard it in a compact disc player after U bought it. I like it because it's perfect for solitude and the whole album is beautiful. Or Legend John Lennon for obvious reasons
