Steve Hackett @ Worthing Assembly Hall, 1983 - went with my brother, loved it.
What gear do you use?
Fender F210 (1980's Acoustic Guitar); Korg fx; Boomerang III Phrase Sampler; Aria Pro II Custom Bass; Fender Strat (Jap); more guitars, harmonicas, percussion. The Korg Wavestation's quite tasty.
What are you looking for from Fandalism?
Like-minded muso's near me.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Probably Genesis, a friend and my bro got me into them - I was intrigued by Gabriel's oddness and inspired by their dynamic changes, musical interludes and huge sound.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
Mostly solo these days, I play regularly in the UK once or twice a week - pubs and clubs with occasional larger venues, private functions etc.
Previously: The Tri-namic Trio; Blue Ice; Strange but True; As for the Owls; The Unlimited Dream Company; The Electric Druids; James Gang; JEBO.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
First person I thought of was Neil Young - he serves the song.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
4 or 5 thousand people at the Royal Albert Hall with JEBO; Of my 1000+ gigs, some have had just the staff and me :-)
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
