Interested in seeing/hearing what other musicians are doing.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
My brother John, Elvis, Porter Wagoner & Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, The Beatles.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I am a solo performer playing Acoustic Classic/Folk Rock covers and like genres original songs. I play approximately 100 gigs a year.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Elvis, Bob Dylan, Sam Cooke, Woody Guthrie and Hank Williams Sr. That would cover homegrown American music of the 20th Century.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Biggest was opening the Lonnie Brooks 3rd Annual Blues Picnic, Lyran Park, Rockford IL with my good friend Catfish John. How many were there? LOTS ! Smallest was singing Hymns for a QUARTER on my neighbor Loretta Loch's front porch when I was 5 years old. Most memorable was singing for my mother's memorial service in 2009.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. I choose it because it makes me smile and fires my imagination. I heard it first in the summer of 1967 when my older brother John brought it home. I like it for the creative thinking, writing, playing, and singing.
