Church is what got me interested in playing the piano. l have loved the piano since I was a young child. I learned how to read music, but I can also play by ear and chords. Of course, I can play the keyboard too. I have been a church pianist and keyboardist in a youth praise band while I was in college. I was also a church drummer for a few years, I taught myself, rather God taught me, because I've never had a lesson. It's been probably 6 years since I played the drums but I am sure it is like riding a bike. I also enjoy playing an instrument, usually at home, called the Bowed Psaltery, a handmade instrument. I have a video on here of me playing "Amazing Grace" on it. I love to sing, and Southern Gospel suits my voice best, my previous pastor said I reminded him of Vestal Goodman. I certainly take that as a compliment. But, I'm just alto Kimmy. My prayer is that my love of Jesus and the anointing shines through my voice and piano playing. My Youtube channel is: kimbosmiles1

What was the first concert you ever went to?
I grew up in church and going to Southern Gospel concerts and church singings, but it was LeAnn Rimes and Bryan White at the Oak Mountain Ampitheater in Pelham, AL. I went with my cousin Mandy, who is basically the sister I never had. We were the same age as LeAnn Rimes, that is what made it most memorable. We were 14 and thought we were grown ups.
