How long have you been playing?
I was about 10 years old when I got my first guitar. I started doing vocals when I was 14 even though I wasn't as good when I started, but I got better. It all started with me seeing guitarists on TV when I was a little kid. I realized what I wanted to be.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
I was young at the time. It was in 2004 and it was Damageplan. Sadly one day before the tragic death of Dimebag Darrell.
What are you looking for from Fandalism?
Well I'm a part of 4 bands currently, but in case I need a member to join I'm willing to look on here for one. Also to socialize with other musicians that have the same interests as me and promote the music I release.
What gear do you use?
It all depends really. For doing vocals on stage I normally use an SM58. In studio I usually prefer an MXL 990 or anything that has perfect sound quality. I own four guitars, An Epiphone SG, a Gibson Les Paul Signature Series, a Dean ML79, a Yamaha RGX 312, a Jackson JS32T, and a 1984 Japanese Fender Squier Stratocaster.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
I'd have to say AC/DC was the first one, I got into them by hearing them on the radio. I eventually got into other bands like KISS, Iron Maiden, W.A.S.P., Pantera, Anthrax, Immortal, Type O Negative, the list goes on and on.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
Yes I am currently in 4 bands band. 3 bands are traditional Heavy Metal and the other one is Death Thrash. My band Steelwitch currently plays shows in the Los Angeles area!
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Damn there's quite a few I could list. Dimebag Darrell, Peter Steele, Abbath, Ace Frehley, Scott Ian, Chuck Billy, Joey Belladonna, Paul Di'Anno, Angus Young, Bon Scott, and so on and so on.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
I'd say the biggest audience would be 100 to 300 people. I think. The smallest, 20 to 30.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
I'd have to say the first Iron Maiden album from 1980. I first listened to it when I was at least 7 or 8, it has such a raw, very head on, and badass type of sound.
