How long have you been playing?
I got fascinated by the guitar of my elder brother when I was 14. At 18 I officially started producing music in a pro studio. Been doing that on a pro base ever since...
What was the first concert you ever went to?
actually I only go to concerts to play. I did go to a belgian artist Raymond one day when I was 14 and was impressed by the drummer Stoffelen, mainly because of his amazing looking drumkit...
What are you looking for from Fandalism?
What I want from Fandalism? Get in touch with musicians from all over the world. It's awesome ...
What gear do you use?
I play a self-made guitar for the moment, made on a body of an old Ibanez. I love to play the bass, which is a Yamaha for the moment. For piano I use a virtual piano of East West, the best I ever found. Drums I only use when I can get access to one, either acoustic or digital. But usually I program the drums. On stage I usually play a Michael Kelly guitar, double humbuckers. I like my stuff, but I'm not attached to it. I see them as mere tools. The gear I use most is Protools, since I produce music. Midi things I process through LOGIC. Both are outdated, but I am no gadget-head, it does what I need it to do.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Ever since I was a kid I found kicks in all kinds of genres. I 'm still into all genres, but being versatile appears to be a severe disadvantage in this world where everything needs to be neatly boxed and labelled...
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
I'm in bands and I've been in bands. Lots. A long, rich and ongoing story...
I sang with a Big Band once, and I enjoyed that very much.

What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Least is one, my girlfriend.
Most is national radio in Paris, France, where I sang a song of mine, prime time, millions of listeners... That was cool. Frightening though :-)

Don't need an album, music is in my head. I make it. A baker won't take a bread with him. A cyclist won't take a bike with him. Can I exchange the option for something more practical ? :-)

Won't ask it every time, promise, just this once. It was meant as a tribute, but I never expected Bobby to pass away the very same day I released my version of his tune.
