RIP George Martin. From two years ago @ Asbury Park Marathon
Uploaded 5 years ago
How long have you been playing?
Switched the strings on my sister's acoustic guitar to lefty when I was 15.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
Yes-Philadelphia Spectrum 1979. First major act concert.
What gear do you use?
Hofner bass, Fender Jazz neck /Precision hybrid bass, Gibson Les Paul, Epiphone 335, Casino J-200, Fender Stratocaster
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
The Beatles, Pink Floyd-started listening to both in high school.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
6 years with the Core-a classic rock cover band that also has dozens of originals. We gig occassionally, rehearse covers and record original music in our studio.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Ringo Starr, because I play bass, and that would be the ultimate experience to hear the rhythm section we create.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
400 people at a college show, about 300 in Manhattan at a couple of lucky gigs in the 80s.
Our band has also played to crowds of one or two.

Tune into this week for Stig Jones's great tribute to the late Chuck Berry with me and Marc Roberge, The Drastic Oh No!!!! Band.

What Went Wrong  Words & Music by Michael J. Viscardi. An original written in 1987, recorded 2003. From my recovered lap top files, remastered 2018.
Verse one
City lights or country breeze
Something's happening to me
Orange brain, dirty air, walk right by me I don't care,
On the phone or in my car reaching somewhere very far,
Mind's up there but I'm down here, living in a brand new fear.
Verse two
Mom and Dad, should I stay, struggling to go one way,
Few do know how I feel, loneliness I fear is real
Under clouds as black as night, I'm standing there, but out of sight
Reaching out just one more time, for something I may never find.
Chorus
What went wrong,
What went wrong
Verse three
Up and down like black and white,
I can't leave without a fight,
Seeing green and feeling blue,
There is nothing left that's true,
Being me I know I can, work it out with simple plans
But it's not all that great, someone's here, is it too late?
Chorus
Lead Verse
Verse four
City lights or country breeze
It is only up to me
Each step forward, cross that line, no one can go back in time.
Chorus

fandalism.com/braddles/ehG2
The last time we met was a day
So long past now faded away.
I still think back to the day when we first met
Moments in time you cannot forget
So many people I've known
Friendships they come and they go
When that day finally comes for me
To see long gone friends and family
Time goes on
Years move fast
I know we can't remember everything
I know that life isn't a granted thing
There was a light for you
A light so divine
I asked my friend to come
And help you cross the line
So people say there's no God
Some people thing we just "are"
Some think we are drifting like random stars
Randomly drifting a far
I'd like to think there is more
I hope to see you again
I'd like to see all my long lost friends
I want reunions that never end.

Saturday night was momentus, as Bill Russell joined us for a jam. It was the first time Bill, Dave Tylicki and I have played together since 1988.
