What Went Wrong  Words & Music by Michael J. Viscardi. An original written in 1987, recorded 2003. From my recovered lap top files, remastered 2018. Verse one City lights or country breeze Something's happening to me Orange brain, dirty air, walk right by me I don't care, On the phone or in my car reaching somewhere very far, Mind's up there but I'm down here, living in a brand new fear. Verse two Mom and Dad, should I stay, struggling to go one way, Few do know how I feel, loneliness I fear is real Under clouds as black as night, I'm standing there, but out of sight Reaching out just one more time, for something I may never find. Chorus What went wrong, What went wrong Verse three Up and down like black and white, I can't leave without a fight, Seeing green and feeling blue, There is nothing left that's true, Being me I know I can, work it out with simple plans But it's not all that great, someone's here, is it too late? Chorus Lead Verse Verse four City lights or country breeze It is only up to me Each step forward, cross that line, no one can go back in time. Chorus

No I'm Not Lonely is an original that was posted here over three years ago, but I never liked the drum programming, so I found a mix without any percussion, which allows for the bass to become the percussive lead. The video has added lyrics.

Baby What Am I To Do is an original song written by my school friend Ben Lambert and performed by Benny and the Boppers in Auburn NY 1985. The drummer and backing vocalist is my brother John, lead guitarist is Terry Quill, who provided photos and the recording. Bass is by Rob Westover. I never saw these guys play-it was a short lived band. All I did here was assemble the video. Ben died this month and this is a tribute to him.Terry by the way has a very active career with several bands and is one of Central New York's finest musicians.

A collaboration with Brad O' Neill. Here is the original instrumental by Brad on his page. fandalism.com/braddles/ehG2 The last time we met was a day So long past now faded away. I still think back to the day when we first met Moments in time you cannot forget So many people I've known Friendships they come and they go When that day finally comes for me To see long gone friends and family Time goes on Years move fast I know we can't remember everything I know that life isn't a granted thing There was a light for you A light so divine I asked my friend to come And help you cross the line So people say there's no God Some people thing we just "are" Some think we are drifting like random stars Randomly drifting a far I'd like to think there is more I hope to see you again I'd like to see all my long lost friends I want reunions that never end.

Saturday night was momentus, as Bill Russell joined us for a jam. It was the first time Bill, Dave Tylicki and I have played together since 1988. Hank, our lead guitarist was absent so I had to improvise on lead guitar, a very wild line up since Bill used to be the lead guitarist and here plays bass. This was our first run through of the Rolling Stones classic with Lori Tylicki singing a killer vocal. We did a few dozen songs, including me later on bass and Bill on guitar. A Single Drop of Rainwater is a short original from years back- redone when I was working on a collab this weekend. At some point I will rerecord a full version.

Doug S. posted his tune I Tried today-I mentioned I had a similar title and was going to rerecord this one, but this is the original 4 track (early digital) recording from 2003. I tried to remaster it, but still a little too harsh. John Viscardi on drums.

All Things Must Pass written by George Harrison, my first live acoustic only post. I was anxious to do something on my new Epiphone, Texan so here it is. Quick and rough...

Clean Break, an original by Stig Jones with additional tracks by Mike Viscardi Stig and I dedicate this song to Angelo Marinosci Jr. Happy Birthday Papa Angelo!!!!!!!! When I first heard this original by Stig, I heard other musical things going on in my head for the song. I couldn't get everything, but I think I added a little Italian seasoning to this great little ditty. I'm not much of a drummer, but I wanted to hold down a beat from my digital kit. Thanks again to Stig for allowing me to work with one of his tunes. Always fun!

Without Friends is an original written by Bill Russell and I but mostly Bill's work here. We recorded this at TraxEast in 1989 with producer Plinky Giglio on the ivories. I found live footage which includes us performing this song, but my DVD burner crapped out before I finished converting all of the video. So Bill and I touched up some audio stuff over the summer and remastered it, though it would have been nice to have the original tracks to remix.

Something, a tribute to George Harrison. I finally get to work with fellow Beatle fan Mark Taylor as we cover this classic with a hybrid of Paul's tribute and George's later live version.

Patience, another cut from Rockslide's only taped gig, and the only time I ever tried to sing an Axl Rose tune. We joke at the end as we realize the party patrons are not watching.
