I started studying music ;when I was very young (many years ago). I have been creating experimental music since 2012.
What gear do you use?
I use a range of small instruments, including home-made or improvised, also laptops, various software, digital sound recorder, contact microphones.
What are you looking for from Fandalism?
I am always interested to hear new or unusual sounds by other artists.
Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
There are no specific influences. I used to listen to anything I could on the radio & went to the occasional classical concert.
On the other hand, my own work is not concerned with conventional Western tonality but is noise-based or microtonal. In other words, I like to be free to use any sound or frequency that suits my purpose or grabs my attention.
You're stuck on a desert island and only get to bring one album with you. What do you pick?
The original recording of Mauricio Kagel's 'Acustica' (1968-70).
This work uses a wider range of interesting sounds than any other that I know of.
