Who was your biggest musical influence growing up?
Aha, an easy one at last. Cluster, Roedelius and Tangerine Dream were my biggest influences, plus Bo Hansson, Mike Oldfield and classical stuff too.
Are you in a band? Have you been in bands?
Blimey, I can see this is gonna take a while. My first band was called Oasis. There were three musicians in the band plus me. There have been more bands since. I tend to find other musicians and leech off them for a bit. Then I move on to let their vitality be restored.
If you could jam with anyone, who would it be?
Hmmm, I guess it'd be with Cluster or Roedelius or the Buddha. Or maybe Sigourney Weaver.
What's the biggest audience you ever performed to? What's the smallest?
Some of my audiences have been on a health kick in the last few years so they're smaller than they were. My more memorable performances tend to be the most recent cos I can't remember shit these days. Probably the best one ever was a party in London where we (JIC) played for over 7 hours. It takes me that long to warm up. Sometimes longer.
