Hallelujah I Love Her So is a rhythm and blues single written by and released by American singer Ray Charles in 1956 on the Atlantic label. It would later appear on Ray Charles' self-titled first LP for Atlantic Records in 1957. The song peaked at number five on the Billboard R&B chart and much like I Got a Woman and "This Little Girl of Mine", it was a song based on a gospel hymn with lyrics changed around to fit a secular blues format. These songs predated the groundbreaking success Charles had near the end of the fifties with What'd I Say but they helped contribute to Charles' huge success with the R&B community at the time. Hallelujah I Love Her So is a testament to the joyous release of love, featuring a sophisticated horn arrangement, and memorable tenor sax solo by Don Wilkerson. Stevie Wonder, Peggy Lee, Eddie Cochran, Humble Pie and later, Hugh Laurie and, finally TomTom would successfully cover the song.

Lodi, song written by John Fogerty and performed by Creedence Clearwater Revival. Recorded in March 1969 , It was released in April, four months before the album, as the B-side of Bad Moon Rising, the lead single from Green River. The song describes the plight of a down-and-out musician whose career has landed him playing a gig in the small town of Lodi, a small agricultural city in the Central Valley about 70 miles from Fogerty's hometown of Berkeley. After playing in local bars, the narrator finds himself stranded and unable to raise bus or train fare to leave. Fogerty later said he had never actually visited Lodi before writing this song, and simply picked it for the song because it had the coolest sounding name. However, the song unquestionably references the town's reputation as an uninteresting farm settlement, although the narrator does not mention any specific complaints. The song's chorus, Oh Lord, stuck in Lodi again, has been the theme of several city events in Lodi. Info: wikipedia Just about a year ago, I set out on the road Seekin' my fame and fortune, lookin' for a pot of gold Things got bad, and things got worse, I guess you will know the tune Oh ! It has been recorded by several artists, most notably by Patsy Cline, whose version was a #2 country hit in 1962. Partly due to the genre-blending nature of the song, it has been covered by dozens of artists in several genres over the years; nevertheless, the song remains inextricably linked with Cline. Nelson's own version appears on his 1962 debut album

First recorded in 1945 by Vaughn Monroe, it became a popular hit, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard music chart the following year. One of the best-selling songs of all time, Let It Snow! has been covered countless times. Due to its seasonal lyrics, it is commonly regarded as a Christmas song. However, the song has no Christmas references and is therefore a seasonal song shared by those who do not join in the celebration of Christmas

Frosty the SnowmanFrosty the Snowman is a popular song written by Walter Jack" Rollins and Steve Nelson, and first recorded by Gene Autry and the Cass County Boys in 1950.
